House Ironwolf is a household within the Society of Creative Anachronism (SCA), an international non-profit volunteer educational organization devoted to the research and re-creation of pre-seventeenth century skills, arts, combat, culture, and employing knowledge of history to enrich the lives of participants through events, demonstrations, and other educational presentations and activities.
Members of Ironwolf reside across the United States, Canada and Norway. The majority of the household is based in Michigan and Indiana; however, there is a strong contingent of members in the Nova Scotia, Canada / Maine, USA area known as the North Pack.
Members of House Ironwolf have won awards in archery, armored combat, rapier combat and thrown weapons. There is also a great deal of talent (and awards) in the Arts and Sciences such as: cooking, metal work, woodworking, calligraphy, illumination, sewing, weaving, embroidery, the bardic arts, heraldry, etc.
Ironwolf is a family based household and is of proud our youth who have already begun to made their marks in the society.
